This is my favorite memory from my early childhood in Vietnam. My rich neighbor had a fence with these flowers growing all over it (and it looks just like this picture!). These flowers are called "paper flower" or "bong giay" because it has a tissue paper-like texture. I used to dream of being rich one day so I can afford to have a house with a fence and grow these flowers (I was 9. What do you expect? LOL). I would do ANYTHING to get my hands on seeds/seedlings of this vine plant, although I am not sure if it could survive winter in the U.S. Midwest.
