Nam Khan river - Luang Prabang

The bend in the Nam Khan river before it joins the Mekong creates the old town peninsula (to the right). This bamboo bridge only exists during the dry season when the river is low, as the water rises the owners pull it down and wait until later in the year once the wet season is finished to rebuild it
