Up in the hills north of Saigon I saw this lady walking through a small open market with goods that I assume she was intending to sell

i like this image of taking things to market. very nice composition
I'd love to have baskets like those in the photo to use for my market shopping. Doubt that I'd fill them as this woman has, though.
Great shot.
Great shot indeed. I adore the petite women transporting such weighty loads. Respect!
very nice street pic :)
A unique and very interesting choice for the theme! I wonder how far she had to walk with that load…
Nice street shot full of colour.
Love the shot-- the focus on the goods in her baskets, leaving us to wonder about her face. Very nice.
Interesting picture. These women does not dress in Vietnamese attire. She is carrying a ceremonial flower arrangement in the basket the type use in Buddhist ceremony. Also, the long skirt (sihn) they are wearing suggest to me they are either Lao or Cambodian. That is interesting. I did not think there is any Lao or Cambodian community around Saigon.
