Is it marked with a name?

Quite stark, and not a bit startling.

How beautiful and how poignant to see a grave alone like this with so much space around.

It looks so ... alone.

A bit odd I guess.

Graves of "unknowns" always bother me a bit because it seems like such a sad way to end a human life.

I tend to think like Kate. BUt it is very peaceful.

That's unexpected and yet fascinating in the sense that it lays there alone, and the grave is "nude". Very simple one.

Great photo. Quite the unusual grave.

At first glance I would not think of this as a grave.

burying the death in the same piece of land that he/she had lived on is normal custom in VN's country side. Sometimes, the death is buried not very far from the house where his family lives (few hundred yards). if you have chance to visit the countryside of VN, you'd see graves scatter here and there close to the people houses, sometimes, you'd see them right middle fo the ricefield .
There're cemeteries in the city, but not the backland area. rich farmers allot a piece of their land to reserve it as burial ground where all his ancestors are buried....

That is a nice tradition - to be buried at home.

Is it common to have the complete gravesite covered with cement?
