Those are my favourite leaves! I take pictures of them every time I'm out in the jungle.
Where was the pic taken? I have been all over Vietnam except central Vietnam around Hue and Da Nang and it seems there is no rainforest left. I will be there again in August for three weeks when I will see Hue and Da Nang.
This photo was taken in the Cat Ba Island National Park. If you want to see forest like this I would recommend visiting any one of the national parks around the country. It is rare to see this type of plant life by the side of major roads, as the land has been cleared for agriculture or other development.
