oh wow.
last year in hong kong we had mid-autumn moon festival around the same time with moon cakes and a huge celebration with lanterns in victoria park, but it just didnt occur to me that other SE asian nations celebrate the same thing? i had no idea the same festival existed in vietnam... cool. what do celebrations in saigon involve?

It is basically nicknamed Children's Tet, where the kids make up lanterns. It is visually stunning on the night - this year Friday 12th
