Your street reminds me of Mexico, only not as sandy. They had all kinds of things in their yards, too, and used mattress springs, pallets and the like for fences. I've only been there once.
I live in Nebraska, USA, where it is currently 3 degrees F. Someone in France has a blog that I found through her comments on Linda in Scotland's blog, and I found yours through looking at her sidebar. Isn't blogging fun? I need to spend a bit less time at it at some point, though. I just discovered it in October.
