Can you guess what type of coffee was ordered?

There is a strange need in some cafes in Vietnam to present coffee in something other than the classical style. This one had the flashy cup, a nice biscuit and brown sugar stuck to a cinnamon stick, however that still does not improve upon the fact the barista had no idea how to make a decent coffee.

With all that foam on the top I would say it is a cappuccino, but that is obviously wrong

Nice glass, they have the same ones at Jaspas. Pity about the latté...

I like their cinnamon stick idea - very decorative.

Like any other part of the world, people are learning new things and adapting. It may be crude at first, but they'll learn to refine and improve it or eventually put in their own flair. That is how food (or anything else for that matter) around the world is getting better and better all the time. Tradition is great and it’s nice to have it to go back to, but creative juice is also as important.
