The Cần Thơ bridge is still under construction, but apparently will be completed by years end. Construction was delayed by many months when a section of the bridge collapsed in October 2007, killing 59 workers
Did they ever find out what caused the bridge section to collapsed? I hope it had nothing to do with cutting corners. Because it's a wrong thing to do in infrastructure projects. Well, it's wrong to do to any projects.

Construction of bridges are always impressive, i admire the workers , they risk their lives , what a tragedy in 07 !
its nice photograph.
When it is completed, I would be cautious crossing it. It has already collapsed once.
A monument should be erected at the bridge site to memorize all workers who lost their lives to build this bridge!
