A daily photo of life in Ho Chi Minh City
Very pretty street scene.
What a wonderful photo! Beautiful place, lovely colors. So clean, so... Wow! Love it.
Forgot to ask: What kind of trees are those (the tall ones)? Do you know?
The tall trees are Tetrameles nudiflora. They have been planted in many streets throughout the city. These are some of the smaller ones in the street. Toward the other end there are some specimens closer to 10 stories high. The buttresses on these are massive at sidewalk level.
chao !! :dbeautiful country I had been there at twiceis there the city hall in the left?
Thanks, Simon. I was just looking at four startling photos of the massive roots on Wiki.
I am really impressed by this photo. The city has made a dramatic return and looks beautiful.Abraham LincolnBrookville Daily Photo
