Lines....with a tree and a traffic light
This month's theme day is Lines. The power and communication lines are a pretty easy target for this theme in Saigon. I also like the idea of all the lines in the new buildings being constructed in the background. To the right hand side of this picture is a city hospital and that is why so many cables are heading over the fence and into their compound.

Even more power lines. This looks dangerous!
You photographed curved, vertical, horizontal and straight lines...nice variety. I've been on self-imposed sabbatical, but have returned for theme day. Come visit!
I thought the powdered lines were big in HCMC?
I think between yesterday and today, you have far too many lines. I think you've entered penalty territory. Not only that, they seem so, so... vulnerable... hanging out there. Wow!
I start to believe what Prof Marc-Olivier Coppens of Delft University mentioned once, 'chaos is beautiful!'.
My goodness, so many lines. Fab for today's theme. So many cables. Great choice. I like the contrast between the sweep of the cables and the straight lines of the building.
Oh looks dangerous. Great photo.
i am with you Anon, where is the pic of the colombian marching powder laced with baking soda, sugar and flour being cut up and snorted in the toilets of Apocalypse?
that sure is a lot of lines
Super photos Simon! Nice work. See me at http://wildwildeastdailies.blogspot.com
Please do tell me what Blogger widget you used for the "translation" module in your sidebar. I looked on Blogger and couldn't find the exact one you used - and I like it!
Thats a lot of cable - great image.
And I thought that we had power line clutter in Boston. We ain't seen nothing! Love both your power line shots.
Very nice picture !
I like that you got the stop light in there. I like seeing traffic lights from all over, I'm weird like that :)
Wow, that is a lot of lines!!!
