As is posted a few days ago, there is an area very close to downtown that is undergoing massive transformation from a rural to urban setting. There are many new housing estates under construction but as the snap shows, the old locals have not completely made way for the new brigade just yet.

But if this development is similar to what's happening to the provinces closest to Manila, I also feel bad for the farmers there.
Good to see solar hot water services on the new houses. And no power lines as well. Barefooted farmer meets 21st century. I like it!

forget there being cows in the middle of and around Saigon, look at how skinny those cows are. Have you been to the VN ZOO? See how skinny there tigers are, oh man, what a trip, i miss traveling to VN
