High tide in District 2
Not far from where I live, the high tide of the Saigon river comes up through the storm water drains and spills out across the lower lying streets. Newcomers always think that the flooding is associated with heavy rains in the wet season, but this area floods naturally during the higher tides of each month. I have no idea how the residents can stand it

Surely there are ways (such as one way valves) to stop high water from entering the streets? Crazy stuff
i love the guy sitting under the umbrella next to the fruit and veg stall. Just watching the waves roll by. So Vietnam
The city drainage system is outdated and is badly needed an upgrade.
