Have never set foot inside the US consulate as I am not a US citizen. I assume they use the grounds for parties as well as the occasional game of football as can be seen by the little goals on the grass. I do not think there is any accommodation on site, but I could be wrong. Directly behind this property is the French Consulate, which also has a grand colonial house for their Consul General to live in - have not been in there either but heard the house is impressive

I'm sure the grounds and the living quarters are quite adequate! Have you been inside for any parties?
