A daily photo of life in Ho Chi Minh City
Ever played sport on that grass?
Doing some reconnaissance work were you?
I'm sure the grounds and the living quarters are quite adequate! Have you been inside for any parties?
As impressive at this may seem try this for size:http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/whitten%20oval/tabid/4281/default.aspxWOOF !

Have never set foot inside the US consulate as I am not a US citizen. I assume they use the grounds for parties as well as the occasional game of football as can be seen by the little goals on the grass. I do not think there is any accommodation on site, but I could be wrong. Directly behind this property is the French Consulate, which also has a grand colonial house for their Consul General to live in - have not been in there either but heard the house is impressive
